"Text To Columns" in Access?

I have several columns in an Access Table that I need to split into several fields. They are easy to "Delimit" as you would call it in Excel, with a "-" or a "." where I would need to split it. How can I accomplish this in Access?

Another thing, I only want it to split the first "-", but no subsequent "-"'s down the line. Is this possible as well?

There is no text to columns function in Access. You will need to manipulate the data with Left, Mid and Right. Look at this video for examples.
