Hi
I just tied to use Data-->Text-to-column. I have a column and I want to covert text to column using "space" as a delimiter. I tried to change the destination to a different Sheet; but excel did not accept that. I can only chose a destination cell inside the same sheet? Is that the case with text-to-column? thank you.

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
I've tried for a few minutes just now, and it seems you are unfortunately correct -- you can set a different destination on the same sheet but not on a different sheet (much less a different workbook).

T2C is only applicable for the cell the data currently resides in, you cannot "apply" it to other cells/sheets

hmm you learn something new every day, seems you CAN pick a different destination, but it has to be on the same sheet

I never noticed that option before
