Hi, I have a scoring system that I would like to display text in a cell base don the score.

For example, should the score be between 0 and 1.5 in A1 then this text will display in B1. "This is a sample text".

Should the score be between 1.6 and 3 then different text will display in B1.

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks,

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Like this?

=IF(A1<=1.5,"This is a sample text","Different text")

Thank you, that works perfect, however, as this works, I have now realised another issue....

In A1 the score will vary and based on the score value I need to add some text. For example, between 0 and 1.5 there will be specific text. Between 1.5 and 2.5 will be different text. This will continue at various intervals up until 5. There is a fair amount of text also per each value, there may be too much text to run it in one formula?

Would there be a better way to do this?

Without details of the intervals and the texts, that is hard to answer.
