I am trying to create a form for users to input various pieces of information needed for testing. I have added drop down menus and text boxes to a sheet and that will be sent out for users to fill out. My issue is that in a few of the text boxes, I need the user to enter in dates, but when the user places a "/" in the field, the text box automatically preforms an equation. I need to know how to allow the user to just input any numbers, letters, or symbols into these fields without having any reformatting issues. Any ideas? I can post screenshots if needed. To be clear, I am not using a userform, rather I am directly in a sheet.

Thanks ahead of time
