Hi all,

Hopefully a real simple one!

Having applied the "Password" input mask to a text box I am now trying to test for a empty string but the code does not detect the text box as empty now I have applied this input mask. see code below.

Anybody know what going on.

Code:
    Me.txtPassword.SetFocus
    If Me.txtPassword.Text = "" Then
            MsgBox "Please enter you password", vbInformation + vbOKOnly, "Password Error!"
    Exit Sub
    Else
            strPassword = Me.txtPassword.Value
    End If

Excel Facts

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
if you replace your if statement with:

If isnull(Me.txtPassword) Then

Hope that helps.
