I want to test for positive correlation between scoring a value of less than 19 in the column "Choice_2" and scoring a value of 1 in the column "vaa_dummy".

To separate out the subjects who answered a value of less than 19 in column "choice_2" i created a dummy, which gave value equal to 1 if the subjects gave a value of less than 19.

So to recap, would it be right to use a correlation command between the "choice_2 dummy" and the "vaa_dummy" to find a correlation between answering less than 19 in "choice_2" and having value equal to 1 in "vaa_dummy" column?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
