If you go to "Settings" at the very top right of the page, then "General Settings" on the left, then scroll right down to "Miscellaneous Options", what do you have for the "Message Editor Interface" option?

In the meantime, I'm just doing another test myself.

Hello, Peter, and thanks for the guidance. I changed it to ENHANCED but the settings didn't save. So, I tried STANDARD and those settings didn't save either. I'm stuck with BASIC and am really frustrated. Do you know if there is something that would be keeping me from saving this setting?

No, provided you clicked "Save Changes" at the bottom right I can't see why it wouldn't "stick".

I've actually just looked behind the scenes and you appear to now have "Standard editor - Extra formatting controls"
If you can confirm that, leave it at that and post back here, I'll then give you some steps to try to post a table like I did above.

Yes, I saved the settings but it still shows me with a basic editor but I'll try posting again.

Don't give up yet. I haven't given you the extra steps yet.

Before I do though, I want to try to resolve the editor setting issue. Don't keep trying to post a table, just answer my questions as best you can.

1. If you click the big 'Reply to Thread' button at the bottom left of this post, do you get a row of icons just above the Quick Reply window that you type in?

2. Assuming so, if you point to (not click) the very left icon, what tool-tip do you get?

OK, I'm asking other Moderators/Admins if they know why this setting might be stuck and if they are able to do anything about it.

I had my tech guy put the setting on his PC and it saved. I came back to my machine and closed all internet windows, cleared cache and cookies, and restarted IE. I am now in Standard Mode!! I have icons above my Quick Reply message box. The one on the far left says "Switch Editor to WYSIWYG Mode" when I hover over it. In my Excel worksheet, I have placed borders around seven rows of data and I pasted them in below. So far, though, it doesn't appear to be working yet.

My tech guy installed Firefox because of my problems with this site. I have pasted my SOURCE dummy data below but it still doesn't look right yet.
