I've set up a chart, driven by data from a pivot chart. I selected a Bar Chart, set everything for all the fonts, colors, etc. and saved as a template. I use a slicer to select an individual property I want to examine. When I go to create the next chart from another pivot table, when I look at Recommended Charts, I select Template then the specific template I want to use. All of the templated formatting comes through except for the color of the first bar. All of the bars are the same color, but the first one is different, its a darker version of all the other bars. When I create the chart and use a slicer to select an individual property to examine, all of the bars are the same color and I have to manually change the first bar to the darker color.

Am I missing a step. How can I get this first bar templating to carry through?

Thanks in advance.
