Hello!
I'd need to create a scatter chart and a bubble chart where each point/bubble is a standalone series. All series should have the same marker/colour/format and will have 3 values for the scatter (series name, X value and Y value) and 4 for the bubble (series name, x value, Y value, bubble size). The reason why I can't use normal scatters and bubbles is that I want each point/bubble to be a standalone series with a name, a name that can be displayed if one moves to mouse over the point/bubble. Consequently, I am looking for a template which will basically look like as if I spent the time needed to create each series manually, up to a number of 255 series which I know is the limit for scatter charts.
So basically, I'd need a 255 series/entries version of the two graphs, so I can paste in my data.
I see similar threads gave some answers, tried the non-VBA method of the nice Peltier tech but didn't seem to work (note that my series names have no duplicates), maybe I was highlighting the data incorrectly before just before creating the chart...
Any help would be much appreciated...
Thanks
