I am wanting to create Excel tutorial videos for the Excel project that I am working on. I am thinking videos will take less time than creating a massive Word document explaining everything.

Is there a screen recorder program that you all use that is (preferably) free?:)

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
I heard of Camtasia being the most commonly used one by Excel gurus. But I cannot find a cheap version of it. The most inexpensive one that I found was for about $150.

I recently bought Camtasia and it is very good.
I bought it from a company that was offering it for a lower price but I had to wait 3 days to received the licence code and download link by email (had to chase it a couple of times by email as they would not deal with queries by telephone).
If you haven't yet found what you want and don't want to pay the price of Camtasia, try Snagit (from the same company http://www.techsmith.com/snagit.html). That will enable you to produce videos from the screen but obviously it has fewer features.
