Hi all,
Always get the best help here.

Is there an easy way to have excel only show me the rows that have something specific in it?

example

A1 John (WSB)
A2 Mary
A3 Mike
A4 Leo (WSB)
A5 Cindy
A6 Barry (WSB)

In this case I only want to see the rows that have the (WSB) in the cells.

I cannot use sort because the (WSB) is after the student name and I cannot change the (WSB) to be in front of the name as this is coming into excel from another program.

Hope this makes sense.

thanks

Barry

Excel Facts

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
One really easy way is to use Filters, and filter that column for any entry that "contains (WSB)".
