In A7, write a formula similar to this:

="On every dinar of the first " & IF($B$3="Dependents", 16000, 8000) & " Dinars = (0%)"

Thank you and sorry if my request misunderstood.

I need to calculate tax amount in cells from B7 to B12, if the marital status is Single then the first 8,000 will be exempted and if Dependents then the first 16,000 will be exempted.

I mean if the annual income is 40,000 and marital status is Single, tax will be:
B7 = 0
B8= 250
B9 = 500
B10 = 750
B11 = 1,100
B12 = 3,000

and if the annual income is 40,000 and marital status is Dependents, tax will be:
B7 = 0
B8= 250
B9 = 500
B10 = 750
B11 = 1,100
B12 = 1,000
