Hey Guys,

Is there any way I can get excel to produce a column of all the values of a set cell from all sheets with a given characteristic?

For example, if I wanted to form a column in my first worksheet comprising all the values of cell C3 from worksheets where A1 = education.

Thanks very much in advance for the help.

When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Sorry, I'm struggling to attach an image of my workbook as the download link to HTML Maker is unavailable at the moment.

Essentially though, I have a worksheet with a set of sheets each detailing information about a certain job, for example:
sheet 1 is for job 1142, and contains the job number, job name, total price, etc. sheet 2 is for job 1156 and contains the same information relative to that job.

The job sheets also contain a definition in cell B2, of which sector the job was in, these can be Education, Healthcare or Housing.

What I am trying to do is create a coversheet at the start (or probably one coversheet for each of the three sectors) which brings together all of this information. For example for the education cover sheet, I'd like it to list in column A the job numbers of all the jobs where cell B2 says education, column B the job names of all the jobs where cell B2 says education, etc.

I've tried going through and just linking each cell, but that process needs to be repeated everytime I add a new Job into the workbook, Is there any simpler way?

Thanks for taking the time to post.
