Hi

In tables is there anyway of hiding the Filter symbol so it only appears when you click on the header?

Thanks

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
The following code will toggle the filter button by double-clicking any cell within the header row. Let's assume that Sheet1 contains your table, and that your table is called "Table1". First, right-click the sheet tab, select View Code, and then paste the following code in the the code module for Sheet1...

Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_BeforeDoubleClick(ByVal Target As Range, Cancel As Boolean)
    If Intersect(Me.ListObjects("Table1").HeaderRowRange, Target) Is Nothing Then Exit Sub
    Cancel = True
    Application.CommandBars.ExecuteMso ("TableStyleFilterButton")
End Sub

Hope this helps!
