I have data that i have "Formatted as Table". columns A:H, with headers. When i type in cell I1 and press enter, my table automatically resizes to A:I. I believe this is expected behavior and exactly what i need. However I have a colleague for whom this doesn't happen. The table ignores anything input adjacent to last column of table and simply stays as is. I have compared every setting within our Excel to identify why one does and one doesn't and I cant see any reason for it all, hoping someone here might have a suggestion?

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
What version of Excel are you using?

I suggest that you update your Account details (or click your user name at the top right of the forum) so helpers always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version. (Don’t forget to scroll down & ‘Save’)

In File, Options, Proofing, Auto correct options, select the "auto format as you type" tab & check the box for "Include new rows & columns in table"
