Table header top border line won't change color

Good morning,

I tried to do it the normal way to change the color of the table header but the top line won't change. It's not a custom format either. Anymore an idea what it can be?
 

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
What do you mean it wont change color?

And after applying a different fill color to the header i get this:

Is it a normal table?

You also can duplicate a Table Style and modify it. And then apply that new style to the table.
