Hello,
Is it possible to synchronize the scrolling of three vertically aligned workbooks in Excel 2010 based not on the =ROW() value but according to some numbering scheme in column A of each workbook?
For example, suppose you have three vertically aligned workbooks in (a single instance of) Excel 2010. And suppose Column A is numbered in each workbook but the numbering does not necessarily coincide with either the Excel Row numbering, ie =ROW() or the numbering of the other workbooks (due to gaps in the numbering, missing numbers, or insertion of text, etc), as shown here:

Is it possible to synchronize the three workbooks so that when you move up or down to a particular row in the active workbook (whether by actual scrolling or by jumping to a row via entering a cell address in the Name Box or Ctrl+g or by means of a hyperlink, etc), the two other workbooks will automatically move there as well?
For example, the red box in the next screenshot shows that when cell A14 (containing the value 12) was clicked in the workbook on the left, the other two workbooks scrolled down so that the Column A cell containing the number 12 in each of those workbooks came to reside at the same horizontal level.

Actually, the very best scenario would be to have the options to:
1) have the three workbooks remain synchronized constantly, or
2) move to a particular row in one workbook (without the others moving) but have a hotkey which when pressed, causes the other two workbooks to synchronize.
Thanks
