suppressing "already exists" alert rewriting&quot

I am running an access macro that transfers spreasheets to excel, runs a macro there, then saves the file from access. However, it (I believe) makes a temp file called RESUME.XLW that it asks if it can be rewritten every time the macro runs.
the error is:

A file named "RESUME.XLW" already exists in this location. Do you want to replace it?

DoCmd.SetWarnings = False does not work in this case.
Any other fixes that would prevent this from happening/autoselect "yes"?
