Hello,

I have created a chart, in Excel 2016 and some of the data labels need to have a superscript. I have tried creating the superscript in the excel file behind the chart, and it does not translate to the chart. I have also tried to select the one character that needs to be superscripted in the chart itself, but the chart will not allow me to select just one character, but forces me to select the whole label. Any recommendations?

TIA!

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
You can type superscript Arabic numeral glyphs(characters) 1, 2, and 3 using the numpad: Alt+0185, Alt+0178, and Alt+0179.

You can get superscript 0 (zero) with the formula =UNICHAR(8304). The other superscript Arabic numerals, 4 through 9, are UNICHAR(8308) through UNICHAR(8313). Superscript plus and minus are UNICHAR(8314) and UNICHAR(8315).

Calibri font contains all of these characters.

Or you can copy them from here and paste them into your spreadsheet: x⁰ x¹ x² x³ x⁴ x⁵ x⁶ x⁷ x⁸ x⁹ x⁺ x⁻
Code:
x⁰ x¹ x² x³ x⁴ x⁵ x⁶ x⁷ x⁸ x⁹ x⁺ x⁻
