Good Day Guys and Gals,

I have an issue, U am using a sum by colour macro to sum some data I colour coded. It worked perfectly but now i want to use a sumifs function where i want to add another criteria other than just the colour of the cell.

Is this possible if so can you guide me.
Thank you

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Unless you used Condtional Formatting to colour the cell (in which case just use the same conditions) formulas cant detect the colour of a cell. You need VBA for that.

This is the code im using, i dont know how to modify it to accept other arguments.

Function SumByColor(CellColor As Range, rRange As Range)
'Dim cSum As Long
Dim ColIndex As Integer
ColIndex = CellColor.Interior.ColorIndex
For Each cl In rRange
If cl.Interior.ColorIndex = ColIndex Then
cSum = WorksheetFunction.Sum(cl, cSum)
End If
Next cl
SumByColor = cSum
End Function
