sumproduct - 3 variable to include a date

Hi – I have a table which previously counted 2 vairables– however now I need to include a 3^rd variable – the month. I.e. I needto count where

Column A=gg and

CoulmnB = sd and

ColumnC = sept-18


Each wayI have tried returns a 0

=COUNTIFS(A:A,"gg",B:B,"sd",C:C,">="&DATE(2018,9,1),C:C,"<"&DATE(2018,10,1))

=SUMPRODUCT((A1:A100="gg")*(B1:B100="sd")*(TEXT(C1:C100,"yyyymm")="201809"))

You need to determine if your dates are text or proper dates.
Only you can decide that.
