Hi,
Wondering best way to do this? I read about using offset but will be volatile right

Example:
A10: =SUM($A$2:A9)

Any easier way to do this in a table?

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Not sure what you're trying to do, maybe post some sample data and what results you are trying to achieve.

Can't right now but basically a running total:

A3: =sum($A$2:A2)
A4: =sum($A$2:A3)
Etc...

Same with vlookups
=vlookup(H500,$A$2:F499,3,false)

Working with all previous rows, is there a better way rather than having an expanding range like this

Was thinking row-1 or using offset but unsure

These expanding range formulas slow things down
