Hi,
Please advice

How can I sum up (what's the formula) multiple cell (ignoring whether it is positive or negative)?

Example:
+20
-12
+25
-40
Sum = 97

Thank you

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
Try

=SUM(ABS(A1:A4))

which is an array formula that must be confirmed by holding down CTRL and Shift and pressing Enter. If entered correctly Excel will surround the formula in the formula bar with curly braces {}.
