Hi,

I'm trying to find away of of summing sales data for multiple products. We have both single sku products and BOM's that contain a combination of those skus.

The sales data I am able to extract shows the value for the BOM I'm trying to find a method of summing the total sales for the individuals skus.

For example we sell sku SK-0001, SK-0002 and SK-0003 on their own so have a sale figure per SKU. Those skus are also component parts of BOM-0001. Id like to be able to say if the sales figure for BOM-0001 is 10 than add 10 to the value for SK-0001, SK-0002 and SK-0003.

I hope that makes some sort of sense!

Welcome to the Board!

With questions like these, it is often very helpful to see exactly what your data looks like, so we can see the layout and data content, and show us what you want your expected result to look like.

MrExcel has a tool called “XL2BB” that lets you post samples of your data that will allow us to copy/paste it to our Excel spreadsheets, so we can work with the same copy of data that you are. Instructions on using this tool can be found here: XL2BB Add-in

Note that there is also a "Test Here” forum on this board. This is a place where you can test using this tool (or any other posting techniques that you want to test) before trying to use those tools in your actual posts.

Your image did not work. You actually need to select all the cells you want to show before copying them over. Otherwise it just returns whatever the one active cell is.
