Summing of numbers with text.

Great day experts,

The current issue that I have is that I am trying to sum up a row of numbers, but within the row, some cells have a number in front of this text (1 WTH), as seen below for clarity. I would like to sum up all numbers to include the number in front of the text, as will. The formula I used, I thought I assumed it would work, but I got 22 instead of 27. What formulation would I use to achieve this goal? Thank you

Are all of your numbers always 1 digit? If so then try this:

Sum with text

A2	A2	=SUM(VALUE(LEFT(B2:J2,1)))

Another option if you can numbers greater than 9

=SUMPRODUCT(--(LEFT(B2:J2,FIND(" ",B2:J2&" "))))

@6StringJazzer I did not think of nor have I encountered anything past a single digit. I am still consolidating data. I appreciate your help.
