Good day all,

Is there a formula that will sum cells that are specific to color? We are sent data from our customer that is specifically identified by color. When we transfer that data to our spread sheet we want to see the all the totals at the top of the page rather than subtotaling and filtering by color.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bob

Thank you for the feedback. I was thinking there would have to be some kind of coding involved and not too sure it's worth the time. For the most part this job is going to take about 1-1/2 years. I am thinking we create a separate column and identify each colored job with a number or letter.

Again, Thank you for your response.
