Sumifs

I need to sum up a row of values but subtract certain pieces. So the values that I need to sum are in column "M", but I want to exclude values that have an identifier in column "J" between 700 and 799.

I know how to write a sumifs formula but is there a way to say hey sum these values but exclude any of the values whose identifier in column "J" is anywhere between 700 and 799?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Perhaps use 2 SUMIFs like this

=SUMIF(J:J,">799",M:M)+SUMIF(J:J,"<700",M:M)

=SUM(M:M)-SUMIFS(M:M,J:J,">=700",J:J,"<=799")
