I've been trying to add an OR formula within my sumifs calculation and it doesn't seem to work. below I've attached a similar function with an if statement and OR inside. Does anyone know why it returns and error??

How about:
Excel Formula:
=SUM(SUMIFS(D:D,B:B,{"JC","RCG","Other"},C:C,"HP",A:A,H4))

Solution
You cannot use "OR" in the manner you tried in a SUMIFS formula.
The squiggly brackets means that the entry just needs to be one of those values listed.
