SUMIFS with DatePicker

my SUMIFS formula works great, until I change the cell with the date criteria to a DatePicker object. Any tips? I wanted the calendar popup because it is faster for some users, but it's okay if it won't work and they have to type in a date.
 

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
