Hi, I have the following equation which seems to not be working - and I'm not sure why, if someone could please help

=SUMIFS('Apr-18'!$CU:$CU,'Apr-18'!$AJ:$AJ,"*"&B4&"*") - doesn't work
=SUMIFS('Apr-18'!$CU:$CU,'Apr-18'!$AJ:$AJ,"310003") when I change the B4 to be the actual cell contents of 310003 the formula works

Cell B4 contains 310003, following cells contain 310004/310005/310006 so I want to drag the formula down

Can someone please help me with where I have gone wrong with this?

Thankyou
