Add numbers up in column C that don't have the word (equp rental) name in column D. I was thinking =sumif <> equp rental, DD

I don't know

Excel Facts

Can you sort left to right?
To sort left-to-right, use the Sort dialog box. Click Options. Choose "Sort left to right"
this is giving me all numbers. Looking to pull in all numbers that dont have the name equal rental in column D

Erics formula returns the sum of column C where the corresponding values in column D do NOT equal "equp rental" as you stated. If it is "equal rental" instead as you are now suggesting then replace "equp rental" with "equal rental" in Erics formula.
