Assume I have a column of data:

Code:
100
200
300
400
500

How can I create a SUMIF to sum, such that if each value divided by 10 is less than 5?

Something like:

Code:
=SUMIF((A:A)/10,"<5",A:A)

Thanks

Excel Facts

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
Yes it is.

However, if my formulae was more complicated, eg if the first condition is not to be divided by 10 but by column B (assuming I have data in column B), how would I approach that?

eg:

Code:
100 1
200 5
300 49
400 12
500 5

You'd have to use SUMPRODUCT, not SUMIF.
