Apologies but i just cant get it to work.

I am looking for a simple sumif to look in A1:A100 and any cell that have any text or numbers in at all to sum the corresponding cells in B1:B100.

Any help appreciated.

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
One way:
Code:
=SUMIF(A1:A100,"<>" & "",B1:B100)
which appears can be simplified to:
Code:
=SUMIF(A1:A100,"<>",B1:B100)
