SUMIF Question

I would like to add D5:D32 if E5:E32 contains the letter L. The entries won't just be the letter L, they will be L-133, L-145, etc. Can I use a SUMIF equation to do so? I can only seem to get it to add if only the letter L is in the cell, rather than if the cell contains L.

If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Thank you so much! I knew I needed an * but I couldn't quite figure out the formatting, I forgot the quotation marks! Thanks for replying so quickly. This worked for what I needed. :)
