Hi

First time poster although long term reader! I'm learning Excel still and have learnt loads from these forums!

Anyway....I'm struggling with a result I am trying to achieve. Basically I have a worksheet that collects all of my data and then I have separate worksheets displaying individual months totals.

In the worksheet that contains all of the data column A allows me to select the month relevant to the data.

Now, for my totals I am trying to total up multiple data ranges if the month is relevant to the worksheet. The Month is listed in cell reference B1 of each month.

I have tried using sumif but sumif wont allow me to use multiple ranges....Please Help!

What I would like is something along the lines of

=sumif(Sheet1!A1:A2088,May Totals!B1,Sheet1!H3:J2088,Sheet1!M3:O2088,Sheet1!R3:R2088)

For reference "May Totals!B1" simply contains the word May
Sheet1!A1:A2088 could be any month of the year

Has anyone got any suggestions for me please or is more information needed?

Thanks
