I am trying to sumif cells in the range M3:M68 based on the colour of the text, it would seem by using the GET.CELL function I can do it based on the background colour but then I have to save it as a macro enabled worksheet which will cause other users issues.
I wonder if there may be another solution that does not involve me having to save the sheet as macro enabled?

Is there a logic that governs what colour the text is?

If there is then use the logic rather than the colour of the text.
