I have a table with Unit Numbers, Unit Value and then 11 columns for 11 Financial Quarters showing Money received against that unit in each quarter. (Sample sheet attached for your reference) and then total of money received against that unit in all quarters.
I am trying to create something that will enable me to select the end date (i.e. a Financial Quarter) for the total money received till end of that quarter.
At the moment I am thinking of creating a drop down showing header for each column i.e. Quarter Names. I want to be able to select a "Quarter" from the drop down list and in the total column it should show a total of ALL the columns till the selected column from drop down.
For example I have following quarters in my sheet and also in drop down:
1) Q2-2022.23
2) Q3-2022.23
3) Q4-2022.23
4) Q1-2023.24
5) Q2-2023.24
6) Q3-2023.24
7) Q4-2023.24
8) Q1-2024.25
9) Q2-2024.25
10)Q3-2024.25
11) Q4-2024.25
If I select "Q3-2023.24" from dropdown list, then I want it to show total of values in each row in table shown under
Q2-2022.23 + Q3-2022.23 + Q4-2022.23 + Q1-2023.24 + Q2-2023.24 + Q3-2023.24
