This part data and I have a separate sheet where I am gathering data for each month, for example, May 2022.

Now I want to sum the net working days from year to date - from 01/01/2022 till May 2022 for example.

But the month May is not fixed so I need a formula that sums the cells from 01/01/2022 till the cell the month is in. (could be any month)

Also, the beginning date is always the start of the year which is why it is from year to date.

Excel Facts

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
with this possible solution you can select your dates from the drop down, and then it will sum the numbers through that month.
hope this helps with what you're going for. I also added a cell that figures year to date based on today()
