I’m not sure if this is possible on a pivot table, but I’m hoping if someone knows they could help me out.
I have net sales and cost of sales. The material margin is the difference between the two. In our business we like to see it as a percentage. I can either get the sum of the two and divide the difference by net sales to get the material margin percent or I could divide cost of sales by net sales +1 and get the material margin percent.
Something else I noticed was that I could make cost of sales a percent of net sales. However, how do I get the sum of the percents? That would work too!
Thanks and I appreciate any help!
