sum of a constant multiplied by a range of cells

Good afternoon, I am trying to multiply a range of cells by a constant number. I am familiar with the SUMPRODUCT but not how to make it work in this instance. Using this formula, {=SUM(M2:M27*{38.46})} I get the desired result. However, how can I substitute 38.46 for a formula or a link to another cell. Once I do that, the formula no longer works. I'm trying to take a number that is the result of a formula, multiply by a list of numbers, and sum those results.

Never mind. Figured out the solution. Easier than I thought it would be.
