Sum in VBA not defined correctly

Hi All

I have tried the following code which does not complile and would be glad of some guidance.

Code:
ActiveCell = Application.WorksheetFunction = Sum(Range("F" & N + 2, "F" & R))

Excel Facts

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
isn't it Application.WorksheetFunction.Sum. can't test that from here
