Hi,

Posting a few times today, sorry.

I need a formula which will do the following.

I have data in columns going along my worksheet, roughly 10,000 rows. I need to be able to SUM some responses based on more than one factor. Column R has the location of response e.g. London, Glasgow etc and in column AA I have whether the retailer stocks a certain range of products; "Yes" or "No". Column BA has logged whether the retailer has responded with a 1 or 0.

In a new column (BE) I need to record and sum responses if it matches the required location (R) stocks the product range (AA) and has responded to a mailer (BA). This involves both text and numbers.

If anyone can help me or needs any more information please say!

Thanks :)

scratch what I said earlier, but basically use =sumifs which can allow you to use as many criteria ranges and criterias as possible. it's very simple with the screen tips it gives you.

I used COUNTIFS instead, didn't realised the syntax for it was exactly what i needed but thank you anyway
