I have the table below. I need a formula in column L to sum from the Start Day in column A. So for the first row it would sum from Day 5 through Day 10, the second row would be from Day 6 through Day 10 and so on.

Excel 2010
ABCDEFGHIJKL
1StartDay 1Day 2Day 3Day 4Day 5Day 6Day 7Day 8Day 9Day 10Sum
2Day 53.23.23.23.02.62.62.41.82.43.215.0
3Day 61.71.51.61.81.71.42.02.61.71.6
4Day 30.20.20.20.20.20.20.30.20.60.2
5Day 83.23.24.24.84.86.26.46.06.44.2
6Day 50.80.90.80.00.00.00.00.00.00.8
7Day 10.30.30.50.40.30.50.61.21.00.5
8Day 28.28.68.88.88.88.68.48.89.08.8
9Day 20.01.00.90.90.92.33.64.94.30.9
10Day 91.20.91.01.00.60.81.51.71.81.0
11Day 1021.621.621.621.624.834.034.037.436.621.6
12Day 30.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.00.0
13Day 55.62.92.94.13.77.48.58.48.02.9

Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
L2=SUM(F2:K2)

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
Its ugly but...

=SUM(OFFSET(A2,0,MID(A2,FIND(" ",A2)+1,LEN(A2)),,11-MID(A2,FIND(" ",A2)+1,LEN(A2))))

I'm sure someone will come up with a more elegant formula, but this works.

Another option, also not that pretty...Enter in L2 and copy down.

=SUM(INDIRECT(ADDRESS(ROW(),MATCH(A2,$A$1:$K$1,0),4)&":K"&ROW()))

Maybe (slightly untested)

=SUM(INDIRECT(CHAR(65+MATCH(A2,B$1:K$1,0))&ROW()&":I"&ROW()))
