I might talk in circles here but I will try to explain the best I cant.... I have a condition format in column AJ for duplicates to make text red.... What I want to do now is in the next column I want to mark a Y or N for reviewing purposes. I feel like the answer can be so simple but I dont think its as simple as what my brain is trying to tell me.... What formula can I use here?

Excel Facts

Copy a format multiple times
Select a formatted range. Double-click the Format Painter (left side of Home tab). You can paste formatting multiple times. Esc to stop
You can use a COUNTIF formula to count how many times the value in that row appears, and if it is more than once, return "Y", i.e.
put this formula in cell AK5:
Code:
=IF(COUNTIF(AJ:AJ,AJ5)>1,"Y","N")
You can then copy that formula down for all rows.

You are welcome.

Hopefully, now that you see it, it makes sense.
If not and you have any questions, let me know.
