subtraction for subtotal

hello i dont want to count the first cell for every filtred cell

i tried

=SUBTOTAL(109,Y21:Y261)-SUBTOTAL(109,FIRST CELL )
but dosent work

i dont want to count the first cell

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Try:

=SUBTOTAL(109,Y21:Y261)-INDEX(Y21:Y261,SMALL(IF(SUBTOTAL(109,OFFSET(Y21,ROW(Y21:Y261)-ROW(Y21),0)),ROW(Y21:Y261)-ROW(Y21)+1),1))

and confirm the formula by pressing Control+Shift+Enter, not just Enter.
