Hi,
Say I have two columns with numbers, column A and B, and column C is A-B... Normally to find MAX I'd just do MAX(range of C), but is there a way to find out what the MAX A-B value without having to make a column C?

This array-entered** formula will do that (just adjust the row number to match your actual ranges)...

=MAX(B1:B4-A1:A4)

** Commit this formula using CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER, not just Enter by itself.
