i am trying to highlight rows in a table that may miss a promised-out time. Column a is the time it needs to be done column c is the amount of time it takes to do it in .1-hour increments. is there a formula i can enter into column f that subtracts the time in C from A so i can have a conditional formatting set to highlight it when it reaches the value of Z1

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
Is this what you mean?
