Hey People!

I have a this problem with Subdatasheets.

The Problem

i have a table called Products. the table contains many products from tvs, backpacks etc. i also have a product called Summer Duvet.

because the Duvets come in different TOGS (Thicknesses or summin) i was wondering if it was possible to only have a Subdatasheet kind of Expandable bit which expands to show prices of the same product but for the different TOGS.

i have tried to use Subdatasheets, but that adds the expandable part to all products that dont need it.

i bet this sounds very confusing! does any1 know what im chattin about?

Thanx

How to total the visible cells?
From the first blank cell below a filtered data set, press Alt+=. Instead of SUM, you will get SUBTOTAL(9,)
I think you can't hide empty fields in Subdatasheets.

But, I think it may be that another solution is possible. What if you used Single Form mode to display the data, instead of a datasheet, and then used a subForm with the additional information. You could then set the .Visible property on the subForm based on the contents of the Field in the currently selected Record.

I haven't done much intermediate/advanced work with forms, but I'm pretty sure the above is possible. Whether it's the best way, well, I don't know.
