Sub Form Question

I have a Form with a sub form. When I am typing data into the sub form and then use the scroll button on the mouse the record advances on the sub form and not the Main form. How can I keep both locked? So that the record from the main form relates to the sub form.

If your subform is properly linked to your main form, the subform should ONLY show the records which are linked to that particular main form record.

If you set up your subforms using the Subform wizard, it should help ensure that they are linked properly.

I did create the subform with the wizard...but the subform records can advance while the main records remain the same. It won't save, which is fine, but I don't want the records to scroll at all.

If I understand you correctly, that sounds very odd. I have not had that experience with my SubForms. Perhaps the link/relationship between the form and subform was not set up properly.
