Hi Folks,

I'm studying Power Query and decided to try and build my own financial Data Model froma number of bank statements. That said, i'm not sure if my model and relationships make sense.

FYI - this link gives a fairly clean picture of the data model I believe.

For background, I live in Thailand, but my income comes from the Usa.

I can only guess that the "SF_BanK_Transactions"(USA) is my best fact table.

Ultimately I'm tring to figure out how many wire transfers I've made from the fact table to "BKB_John"(Thailand) as well as how many atm withdraws I've made in Thailand from the USA banks, which would be located in the "SF_Bank_Transactions".

The only relationhips I can make between tables is through the index column. I've ran into a few relationship errors already.

Thank you ahead of time, I Hope I've described this well enough.

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
I'm almost wondering if I should merge all of these except for the rolling calendar and them start slicing and dicing with Power Pivot and DAX

I think I may have found the solution - create bridge tables with unique values. More study and experimentation ongoing.
